As the bloody civil war came to an end in 2006 a fragile peace is now a reality in the mountains and hills of Nepal. But while the UN is helping to negotiate a stable peace and a new constitution to the former kingdom its southern lowlands are being thrown into new ethnic violence. Bombs, roadblocks and killings of journalists are commonplace at a time when most people in this extremely poor country are longing for nothing but stability and peace.
