skagen, koster (skagerrak)
Denmark & sweden
Skagen, the sand dune that make up the northernmost tip of Denmark, is a strange geological phenomenon that grows up to 50 meters in one year. It is also a prime holiday destination for up-market tourists and a traditional home for celebrated artists.
The Koster islands, on the other side of the sea in Sweden, enjoy a similar reputation and the waters surrounding the islands have now been declared Sweden's first marine National Park.
